More About: Social Media

Twitter: Boosh

I spend an absolutely ridiculous amount of time on Twitter. Why? 86% of it is because I have a very short attention span and it's entertaining. I also watch an abysmal amount of television and, thanks to my insomnia, am frequently the only one awake. It's marginally less crazy than talking to my cats and slightly more socially acceptable. It's pretty frivolous, to be honest. I make snarky comments about whatever I'm watching or snippets of conversation. There are cat pictures often.

I do occasionally tweet about non-frivolous things. #wheresrey has been a big one for me, as the mother of a school age geeklet.

In all seriousness, in the last nine months, I've had a whole bunch of new followers from all different walks of life. It is utterly baffling to me why, but it is also pretty amazing. I've had a chance to interact with some phenomenal people and I am deeply grateful for whatever the reason.

I am always happy to meet new people and, with very few exceptions, am more than happy to follow back.

Instagram: Boom

I'm not sure if this is the best app or the worth thing ever. I do post a lot of pictures. Depending on what season it is, they're either mostly of my cats or my yard/garden. After that, it's a toss-up between pictures of Beastie or things that strike me as funny. (I am not very good at Instagram).

And yes, there are pictures of my squirrels.

Facebook

I currently only have my personal Facebook. I'm not exactly against giving it out—it's pretty easy to locate—and I do have some public entries, but most of it is cross-posted from Instagram. I fell out of the habit of using it about a year and a half ago and I forget to check it fairly often.
